Overnight Support Services

Everyone says that one of the most difficult parts of being a new mother is sleeplessness. Cumulatively, until proper sleep-wake patterns are established, it can take its toll, causing irritability, lack of focus, and diminishment of enjoyment in your baby's early days.  With our Overnight Support Services - an important part of our postpartum care -  a member of our qualified team can take over, lessening this burden for you and your family, allowing you the must-needed rest to continue on the journey.

Overnight Support - for Feeding

When a family needs a night here or there of much-needed sleep, Gentle Giraffes' overnight support service can help!

Proper rest is so optimal to our functioning as human beings, that the opportunity to get a solid night's rest is one of the sweetest things a new mom can get.

Based on the desired feeding method, team members will either bring baby to you or use stored breast milk or formula, followed by burping and comforting your baby before their return to sleep, allowing you the maximum rest possible.

Overnight Support- for Changing

Feeding isn't all that's required during those middle-of-the-night hours.

A wet diaper will wake a small baby just as fast as their hunger, so when this happens on our overnight shift - either as part of a feeding or as a separate need - Gentle Giraffe's staff will take care of it.

You can rest peacefully knowing that a member of our capable and compassionate staff has it covered.

Overnight

Support - for Soothing

Babies’ needs during the night can vary as much as they do during the day. After feeding, changing, and at various other times, newborns need a lot of snuggling or may even need to be held upright.

Our overnight support staff will respond to the varying needs and promptings of your baby so that you can get the well-deserved night of sleep you need.
What Our Clients are Saying
"Gentle Giraffes worked to keep our child's experience consistent between nights when she was the caretaker and nights when she was not there. This took the form of daily check-ins, motivation to persevere with our plan, and implementation of similar methods the nights she was here."
